Personal
What is your name?
- Rachel.
What do you do for a living?
- I am a teacher.
Where do you live?
- I live in the peak district.
When/how did you get interested in the Royal Family?
- Well it is my Parents fault initially although neither are huge Royal fans - they are Monarchist but only have a passing interest.
My Father is obsessed with History although for him it is Aviation history and Ships.
My Mother is obsessed with reading so I grew up surrounded by books and history.
No matter what history book something was about it always featured Royals as they are so intertwined in our history or any history documentary which dominated our TV in our house it talked of Royals.
So I was basically swamped with history. I found the idea of Royalty fascinating - an accident of birth - and the characters of past Royals
I think I realized how much I loved Royals when Diana died (I was 10) and I was glued to the funeral and my parents puzzled over why I wanted to watch.
It grew from there and I began reading all the books on them we had and borrowed more from the library then spending my pocket money on buying more (because what we really needed was more books in our house!)
Why do you hate Kate?
- I do not hate Kate. Hate is wishing ill on someone. I just simply dislike the fact that she never did anything before marring William and continues to do nothing. That is my opinion and in this world, everyone will not have the same opinion as you do. Please respect it and I will respect yours.
Do you know Will and Harry?
- No, but I have friends who work with them.

William and Kate
Can I call Kate, Princess Catherine
No you cannot and her is why
The crux of the matter is that “prince” and “princess” aren’t real titles of nobility. A real title goes with an “of Someplace” after it. If you’re the Duke of Something then your wife is also Duchess of Something. “Prince” and “princess,” by contrast, specifically denote that you’re the direct descendent of the Queen. Thus Prince Charles is a “prince” as are his sons, and his brother Prince Andrew and his daughters Princess Beatrix and Princess Eugenie. But Kate’s not descended from The Queen so she’s no princess. William was made Duke of Cambridge in part specifically to address this, since as the wife of the Duke of Cambridge she now has a title befitting her position as an important member of the Royal Family.
But there’s an exception here! The Heir Apparent to the throne isn’t just any old prince, he’s the Prince of Wales. Consequently, his wife (if applicable) is the Princess of Wales. So if the Queen dies, Prince Charles will become King, Will will become Prince of Wales and then Kate will be Princess of Wales
Also Buckingham Palace issued a statement
“She is not a princess in her own right. That title has not been conferred on her. Her title is that of duchess. So she is not Princess Catherine. And to call her Princess William of Wales is misleading.”
-The coincidences of William and Kate are too great to not cause questions.
William was going to go to Raleigh International the same time as Kate, the only reason they were not there together was because he postponed to go on a Military expedition first
William was going to go to Florence but backed out, Kate was there the EXACT time William would have been.
Then Kate instead of going to Edinburgh like Pippa and James she goes to St Andrews and the same course - she would have known this as William’s choice of Uni and course a year before he went like everyone else did.

Yes a Royal can and Royals have in the past already
Are there any conditions that may hinder a marriage?
At present the law states that if a Royal marries a Catholic either the person marrying in must covert to Church of England or else the Royal they are marrying looses their place in the line of succession

The Wedding

The most popular venues are Westminster, St Paul and St George’s Chapel
Why do British wedding guests not wear tiaras and ballgowns like other Royal Weddings in other countries?
British Royal weddings are usually held during the morning (usually starting about 11am) so are more casual affairs. Most European weddings take place later in the day and are more ‘glamorous affairs’

The dress must be British made, a British designer. If the Bride is from another country is could be done by a designer from her native place but she would be encouraged to choose a British designer.

The dress must also be modest.
